The Energy Exchange is a public forum which maintains a large repository of alternative energy information, methodologies, thoughts, and insights covering all types of technical, environmental, and value added economic material which is available through free home energy seminars, commercial workshops, seminars, various ancillary public addresses, energy audits, and its website. 

Specializing in the alternative energy industry and specifically the photovoltaic market as a niche contractor, Kerr Enterprises maintains a superior level of established quality assurance programs, continuing professional education, welfare to work programs, streamlining field and office operations, as well as positioning KEI to be the premier PV corporation in Southern California for multiple PV manufacturers and distributors.

With this process brought the opportunity for Kerr Enterprises to establish itself as a regional retailer for BP Solar, Xantrex (trace), SMA-America, PowerLight and Unirac PV component integrated "turn-key" systems (grid-tied, battery back-up, and stand-alone battery back-up). Other manufacturers, have approached Kerr Enterprises to be an authorized dealer, although no agreements have been made at this time.

As the regional retailer, we typically do our own system design, engineering, insul calculations, consumption vs. estimated output comparisons, as well as the entire electrical design and engineering, permit processing, inspection, testing, ancillary paperwork, and act as the SDG & E and CEC liaison. We routinely call upon outside engineering/architectural services to confirm and test our design(s) before we commit to the client and/or the project.
